Alan George - President/CEO

Alan began ISI Insurance Services in November 1999 after many years experience in the insurance service field.

A graduate of the Pennsylvania State University with an Associate Degree in Mine Technology and a graduate of Waynesburg College with a Bachelor Degree in Mine Management, Alan headed towards a career as a Mine Safety inspector.
However, his path led him to a career as an Insurance Loss Control Representative and Premium Auditor.

Alan began his career as a Loss Control Engineer for Aetna Life and Casualty in 1985 and moved on to Zurich Insurance in the Premium Auditor position in 1987. From 1988 to 1999, Alan worked for CP Commercial Specialists we he first filled the positions of Loss Control Engineer, Premium Auditor, Supervisor, and finally General Manager. He quickly excelled in his positions and received numerous awards for his achievements. He was eventually promoted to Account Executive, responsible for over $5 million in sales in a five-state territory.

When he chose to take the experience and knowledge he gained from excelling in the insurance services field, he opened ISI Insurance Services in 1999.
Beginning in a small, rented space in a strip shopping plaza in Chalk Hill, PA with only 2 employees and a handful of customers, Alan has grown his company to his own 2000 square foot office building with 13 office employees, over 100 field associates and well over 100 insurance carriers as customers. His business, ISI Insurance Services has also been awarded the Pittsburgh Business Times Top 100 Fastest Growing Businesses award in 2003 and 2005.

Alan is also a "community man". He currently serves on the board of Goodwill Industries. He is also a regular contributor to local organizations, charities and functions in the community including the MABL (Mountain Area Ball League). He and his family are also active, life-long members of the St. George Maronite Church. While his children were enrolled in the Uniontown Area School District, Alan was actively involved in many activities associated with the schools in the district and currently serves as a board member for the Uniontown Area School District.

Alan resides near the ISI office in Farmington, PA with his wife, Marsha; youngest son, Matt and their dog, Rocky.

Michael George – Executive Vice President

Michael serves as the Executive Vice President. In this position, Michael oversees all operations and field associates. Michael also handles most of the financial aspects of ISI.

Michael attended Washington and Jefferson College for 2 years where he studied accounting. He then transferred to the University of Richmond to study Finance. Michael graduated from the University of Richmond with a BSBA in Finance in May 2008.

Michael is no stranger to ISI! In fact, ISI is in his blood! He is the eldest son of President/CEO Alan George and his wife, Marsha. Michael has certainly grown up with ISI as his background and has been an important part of its growth over the years. While Michael was in college he would work here during summer and winter breaks. Michael ran one our larger personal lines project during his years at Washington and Jefferson.

Michael is currently single and resides in Uniontown with his dog Diesel.

April Karwatske – Operations Supervisor

April joined the ISI team in 2007 as part of our Premium Audit Quality Assurance Department. In September 2009, April moved into the role of Operations Supervisor, assisting with the supervision of all ISI field associates.

April brings to ISI very in depth experience in the insurance and Premium Auditing field. April began her career working for insurance agents providing client assistance, filing claims, and working with premium fund accounts. She then trained as a Premium Auditor and worked in the field.

April is a graduate of the Penn State University. She along with her husband, Ted and son, Casey live in Uniontown, PA.
